Thoughts by your CLT,

Due to some circumstances, I regret to inform you that there will be a major overhaul in the POP procedures previously planned and made available for download to you.

There is still NCC training tomorrow, Wednesday, 2 August 2006. There will be a simple POP rehearsal, and I'm in charge.

Please come down promptly so we can all end early, preferrably before 5pm if everyone co-operates.

Sgt Shannon will post the details later this evening.

I am stepping down soon too (yayness!).

I want to tell you all this. If you have been with NCC long enough (6 years for me), you can certainly see it getting from good to bad to worse. It is not entirely your fault. Its a summation of factors which is mostly beyond yours, and even my, control. I cannot say it out here, but hope you get what I mean. Different people have different priorities; family, studies, work..etc. We can't blame their disinterest.

However, I challenge all of you at the end of your NCC career to look into the eyes of those juniors under your charge, and say that you have done your best for them.

If you are able to do so, congrats. NCC might not have benefited you, but those under you certainly have.

To all, the road ahead is exceptionally tough, but changes in our favour may come, and we can yet see light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm always available to my cadets through MSN, email or SMS.

CLT Benjamin.
